Here at Cahersiveen Community Resource Centre we follow a set of policies outlined below.

Customer Care Policy

• We will put the users at the centre of our service and be responsive to our users’ needs
• We will treat our users with courtesy and respect
• We aim to provide a helpful, friendly and effective service within the constraints of available resources
• We provide users with the means to submit comments and suggestions and undertake regular surveys of their opinions
• We will use these comments to help us further improve our service
• We provide training including customer care for our staff ensuring service is of a high quality
• We are aware of and assist users with special needs, providing a service free from discrimination
• We publicise our services keeping users informed of changes
• We aim to provide a service to all ages

In all of this our wish is to ensure that users receive a level of service that we would like to receive in their place. In return we ask you to:

• Treat the centre with respect
• Recognise that centre staff are entitled to the same courtesy and respect as users.

Equality Statement

The Cahersiveen Community Resource Centre recognise and affirms the right of all people, both young and old, to participate fully in the social, economic, political and cultural life of their community regardless of gender, sexuality, creed or political opinion. C.C.R.C. is committed to upholding these rights in our interactions with young people, adults, volunteers, employees and the wider community.

The Cahersiveen Community Resource Centre aims to:

• Provide a Club Service for the community on a needs basis, thus providing social, recreational and educational outlets aimed at meeting the needs of young people.

• Provide a professional and relevant service which offer clubs to allow children an expressive, entertaining and safe environment in which to explore different opportunities and activities.

• Allow children to socialise with their peers in a supervised environment where a structured programme of events and outlets will allow them to participate within their community whilst encouraging personal growth.

• Make children aware of the versatility of cultures, languages and viewpoints available for them to explore in a fun, entertaining, educational and unbiased way.

• Run the club in an efficient, educational, fun and versatile way, on a day-to-day basis.

• Give the young people responsibility for their own club so they take ownership of it, treat it with respect and maintain it.

• Encourage acceptance of different global, ethical and esthetical values and to value their own culture and opinions.

Pricing Policy

The Cahersiveen Community Resource Centre Ltd. has introduced the following Pricing Policy in order to target all members of the community in a bid to availing of the services provided at the Centre.

Through this Policy, we hope to introduce new users to the centre at low prices to gain a significant increase in the total number of users to our centre.

Customer Expectations: It is most important for the centre to learn how our users and prospective users feel about our services as this bears on our Pricing Policy. We invite you to speak with any member of staff in relation to your expectations of the services provided at the centre.

Discounts: Certain discounts for hall hire are available to long-term users, newly formed groups, staff members and volunteers. Please see the Manager.

The Cahersiveen Community Resource Centre Pricing Policy will be examined and reviewed frequently to be certain that prices remain affordable, competitive and are attractive to all our users and prospective users, whilst remaining in line with current inflation (ie. oil prices etc.)

Sports Hall Hire: €15 per hour/€50 per daily event
Cinema Hire: €50 per event
Room Rental (Meetings etc.): €12 per hour
Birthday Parties etc.: €15 per hour (Hall hire, equipment and activities)

Reception area can be covered during events if requested at no extra charge.
